Covid-19 FAQ


Asking for the vaccination status is not in itself a HIPAA violation since no personal health information has been disclosed. A violation would only occur if a “covered entity” discloses PHI to an unauthorized person without your consent. Businesses are not covered under HIPAA and the Orpheum will not be recording your vaccination status but simply conducting a visual confirmation that your vaccination card is valid and then handing it right back to the attendee. There will be no recording of an attendee’s vaccination status or personal information.
No problem! The Orpheum will have free masks at the door and throughout the venue.
While the Orpheum Theater is not requiring staff be vaccinated at this time we are happy to say yes!
Yes. We will accept a photo of your vaccination card as we will match it to a valid, state issued ID.
We understand so we are also offering the option of showing us a negative test from an approved testing facility that was obtained within 72 hours of the event. Here is a link to approved testing sites throughout our state.
We will require the parent to present a printed copy of a negative COVID-19 test result to attend any event at the Orpheum Theater after 9/20/21. The negative COVID-19 printed test result must be obtained within 72 hours (3 days) of the event. We then strongly encourage the child also wear a mask at all times unless actively eating or drinking.
After September 20th, 2021 the Orpheum will continue to strongly encourage attendees to wear a mask at all times unless actively eating or drinking.
